Signing Day -- Uconn Football Inks 20
Uconn head football coach Randy Edsall announced on Wednesday that the Huskies have signed 20 recruits to a National Letter of Intent to join the Huskies program. Edsall said this is the most athletic group he has recruited in his 11 seasons at Connecticut. It includes five defensive backs -- as the Huskies try to address their most immediate need.
"Take a look at not only what these young men have done on the football field, but what they've done in some of the other sports they play," Edsall said. "There are a lot of two- and some three-sport athletes in this class, which I really like."
