Say it is So

The only thing better than Stephon leaving the Knicks would be if "Starbury" took Isiah with him..Oh and if I woke up tomorrow and James Dolan had also sold the Garden to a non idiot. Pipe dreams, the lot of em, however today's action in Phoenix could be a step in the right direction. According to sources in the know, Steph and Mr Groper had a bit of a falling out this morning because Zeke told his PG that he was not getting the start tonight.

Apparently Steph missed the morning shoot around and boarded a plane back to NYC and this afternoon he told the New York Post (in a text) that he is out for the LA game as well. Sadly this will not be the beginning of the end as Isiah is probably just letting Marbury blow off steam, #3 even insists Isiah gave him permission to leave.
Honestly what are they going to do -- How many teams are looking to eat $40 million in the next two years for this washed-up headache?? Unless Isiah has a twin brother in the front office of another NBA team we are stuck with him for the extent of this contract. Its just a shame really, I was into the new Stephon -- aside from backing Michael Vick and his admitting to having intercourse with a Knickerbocker intern in the parking lot of a strip-club this summer -- I thought he was really "born-again."

*****UPDATE 11/14***********
The New York Daily News reported on Wednesday all the fun started during the team's flight out west, when Marbury learned from Eddy Curry that Thomas planned to use him as a backup and start Mardy Collins. A person close to the situation told the snooze that Marbury reportedly marched to the front of the plane to confront Isiah, then returned five minutes later and claimed he had "leverage" on Thomas.

"Isiah has to start me," Marbury reportedly said, according to the Daily News. "I've got so much sh*t on Isiah and he knows it. He thinks he can F*&k me. But I'll f*&k him first. You have no idea what I know."

Sounds like Steph is in need of his prayer group, big time.
