Here is my crack at the field of 65, keep in mind that this is how I project these teams to finish up and is a reflection of that. Not how things stand right now. I will update every Monday until the tournament is announced. The goal is simple -- beat Joe Lunardi on selection Sunday..

a 7 or 8 seed would be around 26-32 ranked in the country though. with the schedule if you pencil the huskies in for two more losses, you would have 24-7 going to MSG. say 2-1 there and you have yourself a nice little 26-8. looks more like a 4/5 but definitely not 7-8. your 7-8 is marked down so that i can laugh at you in 4 1/2 weeks, laugh at you mase.
Uconn as a 3 seed is wishful thinking. I mean, I hope for it as much as anyone, but I think they'd have to lose one or (at most) 2 more games then win the Big East tournament to get the kind of respect that comes with a 3seed. I don't think the commitee will be sold on the Huskies enough to boost them that high. I think they'll end up in a tough 7-8 game. Mark it down.
