So I stand corrected in a big way baby....

As I was watching Rangers lose 2-0 to Zenit St Petersburg in the UEFA Cup final (good game and any time you can hear Christopher Sullivan enunciate soccer terms its all good) I saw that Fox Soccer Channel is making a big thing of the Serie A finale this weekend. I am stunned and quite pleased...

Speaking of FSC, I watched some highlights of the Galaxy losing to the Vancouver Whitecaps last night...I can understand people being reluctant with field turf, but good heavens what is up with the pitch in Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium -- it looked ill. Beckham must have felt like Pele playing at Downing Stadium for the Cosmos.

The German season comes to a close this weekend featuring Bielefeld and Nurnberg fighting to stay up and Hoffenheim looking to stay ahead of Freiburg and Mainz to gain promotion from Bundesliga2

Should be an interesting weekend ahead
