Cup returns to Hockeytown

For a fourth time in 11 seasons, Detroit have won Lord Stanley's Cup. They used their immense experience advantage to knock out a young Penguins club on Wednesday night with a 3-2 victory in a series deciding sixth game.
Nicklas Lidstrom led the Red Wings to the title becoming the first European to captain a club to the championship in NHL history.
Mario may have his work cut out for him securing his young stars for the foreseeable future, but in whatever form Pittsburgh takes you get the feeling they will become a fixture in the NHL finals for some time to come.
