Brandon Knight on Official Visit to UConn

The top PG in the 2010 class in on campus for his second visit, this one is "official."


The highly coveted Knight is considering UConn, Kentucky, Florida, Miami, Kansas and UCLA. He might be waiting until the Spring to announce his destination.

Tobias Harris trimmed his list today and Uconn is no longer being considered, Calhoun could not promise every single shot and naming the gym after the highly rated Long Island big man. If his dad's only concern is to get his son to NBA, then he might want to think about Maryland, West Virginia and Tennessee again -- all good programs -- but they have zero track record in producing high end NBA talent. Syracuse, Kentucky, Louisville and Georgia Tech are the other schools in Tobias' final 7.

I think John Wall will leave after 1 year, so that will clear the way for Brandon Knight to come in and dominate at Kentucky next season.

I wonder what effect Jim Calhoun's health will have on signing some of these propsects.
